Sony PS3 Blu-Ray Remote Officially Available Sony has officially released the PS3 Blu-Ray remote control. Their has been a few surface at a Wal-Mart in Nevada Las Vegas, but they were not widely available until now. Why Sony decided to wait until now to release the Blu-Ray controller, is unclear. Many people thought that Sony should have packaged the remote with the 60 GB PS3 model, much like Microsoft did with the XBOX360. Instead, Sony chose to package Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.

The remote will be retailing for $24.99, and will come with 2 Sony branded AA batteries. This remote will come as a welcome replacement to the PS3 remote, which was a bit of a clumsy substitute for a remote.
